Richard P. O'Connor

Richard P. O'Connor, of Reading, passed away on April 17, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. He was 87 years of age.

Richard was the beloved husband for 58 years to the late Mary (Quirk) O'Connor. He was the devoted father of 8 children, Mary O'Connor, Maureen O'Connor, Julie LeDuc and her husband Don, Erin Barry and her husband Thomas, Thomas O'Connor and his wife Laurie, Katie Millerick and her husband William, Timothy O'Connor and his wife Susan, and Patti Thomson and her husband Kevin. Cherished grandfather of 27 grandchildren. Loving son of the late Francis O'Connor and Julia (Sheerin) O'Connor. Dear brother of Judy O'Brien and her husband James and the late Francis, Edward, Rita Mattos, Raymond, Paul and Kathleen. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Doherty Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING, Wednesday April 22, 2015 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Richard's Eternal Life in St. Joseph Church 173 Albion St. Wakefield at 10am.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Tuesday April 21, 2015 from 4-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and ramped entrance available. Interment with Military Honors will take place at Wood End Cemetery Reading.
