Richard A. Patterson of Reading passed away on Wednesday November 3, 2004 at his home in Reading.
Born in Haverhill, Richard was a longtime resident of Reading. Richard was the beloved son of the late Basil Patterson and Rita (Wilkinson) Patterson. Richard was a loving and caring son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all.
Richard was a dedicated Medical Technologist for Tufts New England Medical Center for many years. During the Vietnam War, Richard proudly defended our country in the United States Army.
Richard was the beloved brother of Patrice Patterson of Long Beach, California, the late John Patterson of Long Beach, California and the late Peter Patterson of Haverhill. He was the dear uncle of Jocelyn and Ryan Patterson, Hope Patterson, Marie Boiselle and Tammy Gondolfo. Richard was also survived by numerous friends.
A Funeral Service will be conducted on Monday at 10am in the Chapel of the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Sunday 2-6pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill.
Flowers are welcomed or if you wish, donations in memory of Richard may be made to the AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts 294 Washington St. 5th Floor Boston, MA 02108.
