Richard T. Vertullo

Richard T. Vertullo of Reading passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.   He is 80 years of age.

Born on Monday, November 29, 1943 in Winthrop, Richard is the loving son of the late Nicholas Vertullo and Florence (Santoro) Vertullo.  Richard is a warm, kind, gentle and loyal son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend who will be truly missed.

Richard is the beloved husband of Janice (Tammaro) Vertullo.   He is the devoted father of Richard Vertullo Jr. and his wife Jennifer, Kenney Vertullo and his wife Lindsay and Darlene Vertullo.  The cherished grandfather of Nicholas Vertullo, Eliza Vertullo, Sage Underwood and Thor Underwood, Richard is the dear brother of Alfred Vertullo, MaryAnn Tammaro and the late Pasquale Vertullo, Ralph Vertullo, Frank Vertullo, James Vertullo and Joanne Bramante.  He is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral from the Doherty – Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden Street READING on Friday, April 26^th at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Richard’s Eternal Life in Saint Patrick Church, 71 Central Street Stoneham at 10am.  Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Richard’s Family on Thursday, April 25^th from 4-8pm in the Funeral Home.  Parking attendants and elevator are available.   Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
