Rita L. "Nana" (Accettullo) Buccheri

Mrs. Rita L. "Nana" (Accettullo) Buccheri, of Methuen, formerly of Everett, passed away on Monday April 15, 2019. She was 89 years of age.

Born on June 2, 1929 in Everett, Rita was the loving daughter of the late Marciano Accettullo and Anna (Cerasoli) Accettullo. Rita was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.

Rita is the beloved wife of the late Salvatore J. "Papa" Buccheri. She is the devoted mother of Anna Marie Briggs and her husband Bill, and Karen Eaves and her husband Ralph. The cherished grandmother of Michael Briggs, Sarah and Madeline Eaves. Rita is the dear sister of Janette Doherty and the late Marie Maffei, the late Tina Pepicelli and her husband Billy, the late Joanne Daniels and her husband Joe, the late Elena Caggiano and her husband Anthony. She is also the aunt to many loving nieces and nephews.


Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Rita's and Salvatore's Family Wednesday, April 24th from 8 am to 9:30 in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Rita's and Salvatore's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Parking attendants and elevator are available.

Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
