Abruzese, Rita I. (Caliguri) –Of North Reading, July 30th. Beloved wife of the late Carl Abruzese Sr. Loving mother of Carl Abruzese of East Boston, Michael P. and his wife Sherry of NH and the late Janet Abruzese. Cherished grandmother of Jake and Carly Simard and Isabella Abruzese. Adored sister of the late Mary Morano and Sadie Caliguri. Rita is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Rita's Funeral will begin on Thursday, Aug. 6th at 9:30am from the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa's Church, 63 Winter St. (Rte. 62), North Reading at 10:30am. Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home Wednesday 4-8pm. Interment Riverside Cemetery, North Reading. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rita's name to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
