Rita M. Chiulli

Rita M. (DeMatteis) Chiulli of Stoneham was entrusted to the loving arms of her heavenly family from the loving arms of her earthy family on March 20, 2008 at age 80.





Born in Rochester, New York Rita was the loving daughter of the late Joseph B. DeMatteis and Mary (Masucci) DeMatteis. Rita was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend who will be sorely missed.





Rita was a kind and gentle woman who would never hesitate to help someone in need. You could always find Rita with a smile on her face, willing to be there for anyone.





Rita was the beloved wife for of the late Alfonse J. Chiulli. She was the devoted mother of Sharon Iovanni and her husband Thomas of Stoneham, Janet Haggerty and her husband Charles of Centerville and the late Stephen Chiulli. Rita was a cherished grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and great aunt. She was the dear sister of the late Robert DeMatteis and Letitia Mayer. Rita was the sister in law of Marie and Louis Angelo and John and Theresa Chiulli. A Funeral Mass celebrating Rita's life was held in St. Patrick Church, on Wednesday at 10am. Interment was in Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
