Daughter of the late Ciriaco DeStefano and Theresa (Capone). Aunt of Nancy Patsios and her husband Jim of Andover and Judy Houhoulis and her husband Jim of Boxborough. Great aunt of William, Vincent and Anthony. Cousin of the late Debra Lee. Sister of the late Alfred DeStefano and his late wife Jean. Sister in law of the late Jesse Lifrieri and his late wife Margaret. Rita's funeral will begin from the Funeral home on  Wednesday, Sept. 6th at 10:30 am.  Her Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa's Church, 63 Winter St. (Rte. 62), North Reading at 11 am. Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 9 am - 10:30 am. Interment Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. Rita was a past member of the Wilmington Sons of Italy.
