Rita F. (Campbell) Jordan

Rita (Campbell) Jordan of Medford formerly of Somerville, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at her home. She was 96 years of age.

Born on January 26, 1919 in Somerville, Rita was the loving daughter of the late Gerard Campbell and Louise (Tobin) Campbell. Rita was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Rita worked at St. Joseph's Church in Medford and was the former owner of the Cadillac Lounge in Somerville.

Rita was the beloved wife of the late William Jordan. She was the devoted mother of William Jordan, Jr. and his wife Gina, Joseph Jordan, Nancy Frechette and her husband Michael, Susan Caron and her husband Dennis and the late James and Stephan Jordan. The cherished grandmother of 15 and loving great grandmother of 19, Rita was the dear sister of the late Mary Connors and Louise Santoro. She was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass Celebrating Rita's Eternal Life will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at10:30 am in St. Joseph's Church, 114 High St. MEDFORD. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend.
