Rita P. (Hooper) Kelley

Rita P. (Hooper) Kelley of Stoneham passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading. She was 85 years of age.

Born on January 5, 1930 in Woburn, Rita was the loving daughter of the late George Hooper and Katherine (Flynn) Hooper. Rita was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed.

Rita was the beloved wife of John F. Kelley. She was the devoted mother of Jim Kelley and his wife Beverly, Tom Kelley and his wife Susan Nowell Kelley and the late Jack E. Kelley. Rita was the cherished grandmother of Callum Nowell Kelley and Meg Kelley. The dear sister of Kay Covell and her husband Daniel, the late Mary Fama and her surviving husband Maury, Rita was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass Celebrating Rita's Eternal Life will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2015 in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 from 3-7pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
