Rita M. (LaCroix) Peterson - Perry of Stoneham passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Woodbriar at Wilmington. She was 93 years of age.
Born in Fall River, Rita was the loving daughter of the late Arthur LaCroix and Angelina (Vadeboncoeur) LaCroix. Rita was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be sadly missed.
Rita was a wonderful mother who loved her family. She loved to sew, cook and bake. Rita helped working with her husband in the Donut Business in Everett.
Rita was the beloved wife of the late Devon H. Peterson and Elmer Perry. She was the devoted mother of Maureen R. Cutone and her husband Richard T. of Stoneham, Ronald D. Peterson and his wife Linda of Largo, Florida, Marlene L. Hoyt and her late husband John of Lynnfield. Rita was the cherished grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 3. She was the dear sister of the late Evelyn Sanphy, Lillian Newbold, Arthur, Leo, Charles and Leo LaCroix.
A Funeral Mass celebrating Rita's Eternal Life will be held on Thursday at 10am in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend an hour of visitation with the Family on Thursday from 8:30 - 9:30am in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
