Rita H. Shrewsbury

Rita H. (Madigan) Shrewsbury, age 92, of Medford, MA, died peacefully on May 4, 2017. Rita was the loving wife of the late William V. Shrewsbury. Mother of John T. Shrewsbury and wife Karen of Medford, William E. Shrewsbury and wife June of Malden, Elaine M. Shrewsbury of Cambridge, Mary R. Stearns of Tewksbury,
Carol A. Lynch of Stoneham, Ann M. Pontifex and husband James of Cotuit, and the late Paul J. Shrewsbury. Dearest "Nana" of Maureen, Amy, Dennis, Jeffrey, John, Jacqueline, Ryan, Laura, Suzanne, Lynne, Cara, Jill, and the late Brooke. Rita is also survived by many great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass Celebrating Rita's Eternal Life will be held on Wednesday, May 10th, at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 41 Fellsway W., Medford, MA. Interment Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the family prior to the Mass at the Barile Family Funeral
