R. MARIE KELLNER
R. Marie Kellner (Walsh) of Stoneham, passed away on Sunday January 20, 2002 at the Winchester Hospital, Winchester. She was 81 years of age.
Born in Hanover, Mrs. Kellner was a resident of Stoneham for the past 52 years. Before her retirement she was a telephone operator for New England Telephone Co.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her family was first and foremost in her life. She was a member of the Mother's Club at St. Patrick's Church and taught CCD at St. Patrick's for many years.
Mrs. Kellner was the wife of 57 years to William F. Kellner. She is survived by her two sons W.Brian Kellner of Stoneham, Barry M . Kellner and his wife June of Lawrence, her daughter Marlene M. Hopkins of Warwick R.I., her four grandchildren Lisa Williams, Sara Kellner, Kristin M. Johnson, Michael Hopkins, and her two great grandchildren Ambria and James. She was the sister of Thelma Lahey and Carol Hart both of Florida and the late Lorraine Walsh.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours Thursday January 24th at the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. Stoneham from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick's Church 71 Central St. Stoneham on Friday January 25th at 9 a.m. Interment will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Stoneham.
