Robert A. Atamian

Robert A. "Robbie" Atamian, 75, of Hopedale, Massachusetts passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026 due to heart complications. Born on September 16, 1950 in Uxbridge, Massachusetts, son of the late Robert and Ginny (Reed) Atamian, Robbie lived a simple life with an unwavering loyalty to his family and friends.

Robbie was predeceased by both of his parents and two sisters, Ginger and Robyn.

He is survived by his two loving children; Benjamin Atamian and his wife Sarah and Abigail (Atamian) Flakes and her husband Phillip, their mother, Elizabeth (Gonynor) Travers and his brother Terry.

His four grandsons (Beckett, Kasch, Wesley and Parker) were the light of his life. He enjoyed watching their games, sitting at Old Silver with them and making sure they were up to speed on the latest sports news.

Robbie will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, incredible memory and insatiable appetite for sports. His love of sports started at an early age - listening to the Yankees games on the radio, playing soccer in high school/college and then playing softball well into his adult years. He raised his kids Boston fans despite being a die hard NY fan. A lover of music, there wasn’t a Grateful Dead or Furthur show he missed. He was always stepping up when his people needed him, never missed a Yankees, Jets or Rangers game and would truly give you the shirt off his back.

Private services will be held at a later time at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Uxbridge, Massachusetts.
