Robert Baltrush passed from this earth on Tuesday September 17th, 2024.  His days with us were too short. Bob was predeceased by his mother, Rose and his sisters Lorraine and Ann.  He is survived by his wife, Ellie Bowen; his neice & nephew Roseann Hogan & Tom Hogan and his son Caiden and Ellie's children Bill Bowen (predeceased) and his children Monica & Bill Conway, Debbie & John Doyle and their children Mike & Krista, Patty & Mark Travison and their children Tracy and Cheryl, Denise Bowen and her son Manny Ambrose. Diane Bowen (predeceased) and her sons Andrew Crowell  (predeceased) & Kaleb McKinnis, Cindy Bowen-Kenney & Chris Kenney. Robert, "Bobby" to most, was a blessing to his family and friends.  He not only took care of "his people", he was willing to help anyone.  He was a good man.  Bobby never fathered children, but he filled the role of father for so many.  He was a wonderful uncle, stepdad, grandfather.  He was a solid and dependable friend.  He was a loving husband to Ellie, whom he shared his life with for 39 years.  Bobby was an animal lover.  He especially loved his cat, Rusty. Bobby was a proud Vietnam Veteran, serving our country in the US Marine Corps.  After the war, he continued to serve his fellow servicemembers through the VFW George Dilboy Post 529 of which he was a past Commander.  He was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans.  Bobby lived a life of service. Bobby made this world a better place.  He was a generous soul who demonstrated his love on a daily basis. Bobby was well loved and will be deeply missed.
