Robert A. Beaucher of Reading passed away on Monday, August 4, 2008 at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading. He was 81 years of age.
Born in Medford, Robert was the loving son of the Georgianna and John Beaucher. Robert was a warm and loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. He will be sadly missed.
Robert was an Engineer for Textron Defense Systems for many years. During WW II, Robert proudly defended our freedom by serving in the United States Navy.
Robert was the Beloved husband of of Barbara (Luongo) Beaucher. He was the Devoted father of Nanette Olson and her husband Harold of Medford, Peter Beaucher and his wife Penny of ME, Patrice McManus and her husband Joe of Brighton, Christopher Beaucher and his wife Lisa of NH and the late Suzanne Beaucher. Robert was the Cherished grandfather of Nicholas Olson, Zachary Olson and Samuel Olson, Monique Beaucher, Serina Beaucher, Mayllene Beaucher, Paul Beaucher, Deanna Beaucher, Olivia Beaucher, Tyrus Beaucher and Joshua Beaucher. He was the Loving Great Grandfather of Ethan Milliken. Robert was the Dear brother of Edward Beaucher, William Beaucher and Lillian Duncan.
Funeral from the Joseph Doherty-Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden Street, READING, Friday at 8:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Robert's life in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St., Reading at 9:00 am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours, Thursday 4-8 pm. Parking is available in the Municipal Parking Lot on Linden St. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Robert may be made to Sawtelle Hospice House, 320 Haverhill Street, Reading, MA 01867
