Ragusa, Robert R. Sr. -Of Danvers, Feb. 1st at the age of 97. Beloved husband of the late Mary (Romano). Father of Robert R. Ragusa Jr. and his wife Janice of West Roxbury and Linda Davidson and her husband Richard of Danvers. Son of the late Biago and Mary Ragusa. Brother of the late Phyllis Salini, Josephine Dionisi, Elsie DiDonato and Margaret Spolsino. Grandfather of Kimberly Davidson, Meredith Yanofsky and her husband Dan of Beverly, Beth Byrne and her husband Ed of Torrance, CA, Jill Ragusa of Jamaica Plain and Michael Ragusa and his wife Liz of Millis. Great-grandfather of Ned, Gus, Will, Maggie, Luke and Catherine.

Rob was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Family was the most important part of his life, he enjoyed nearly 66 years of marriage to his Mary, who he missed so dearly for the last 11 years. After hosting his own Boston radio show in the 1950's, Bob joined the accounting department at MIT, retiring as Accounting Manager after 37 years. He was an avid lover of music, especially the jazz and big band genres.

At the request of the family, funeral services were privately held. A Memorial Mass will be announced at a later date.  Please omit flowers and make donations in Robert's name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
