Robert F. Cater, Jr.

Robert F. Cater Jr. of Medford passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 10, 2022.  He is 72 years of age.

Born on Friday, May 26, 1950 in Boston, Robert is the loving son of the late Robert Cater and Lucille (Sorensen) Cater.  Robert is a warm, kind and gentle son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.  He will be truly missed.

Robert is the beloved husband of the late Danielle (Rich) Cater.  He is the devoted father of Jeffrey Cater, Daniel Cater and his wife Christina and Shawn Cater.  The cherished grandfather of Copeland and Cordelia Cater, Robert is the devoted brother of Carol Macomber and her husband Glenn, John Cater and his wife Candi and the late Stephen Cater.  He is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Mass Celebrating Robert’s Eternal Life will be held on Tuesday, September 13^th at 11am in Saint Athanasius Church, 300 Haverhill Street, Reading.
