Robert J. Doiron

Robert (Bob) Doiron, age 81, of Reading, passed away on May 18, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. Bob was the beloved husband of Helen C. Griffin Doiron. Devoted father of Joseph Griffin and his wife Pamela of Middleton, Daniel Griffin and his wife Rita of Durham, NC and Christine Griffin and her husband Pat Dowe of Reading. Dear "Papa" to Brianne, Julie, Joseph and Geneva Griffin; Samantha, Riley and Mikayla Dowe. Brother of Charles Doiron and his wife Theresa of Chelmsford. Predeceased by his parents Marietta and Augustine Doiron, and brothers Raymond, Edward and Bernard. World War II Army Veteran. Funeral from the Doherty-Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING, Monday at 8 am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Bob's Life in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St., Reading at 9 am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Sunday from 1-5 pm in the funeral home. Parking is available in the municipal parking lot on Linden St. Interment with Military Honors at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Retired from the City of Somerville Highway Department.
