Robert V. Larson

Robert V. Larson of Reading passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022. He is 92 years of age.

Born on Wednesday, January 15, 1930 in Cambridge, Robert is the loving son of the late Walter Larson and Ellen (Larson) Larson. Robert is a kind, warm and gentle son, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed.

Robert was a dedicated claims adjuster in the insurance industry for several years. He proudly defended our freedom by serving as a Sergeant in the United States Army during the Korean Conflice.

Robert is the beloved husband of the late Barbara (Taylor) Larson and the late Dorothy (Anderson) Larson. He is the devoted father of Steven A. Larson, Thomas W. Larson and his wife Kathleen and Kristina E. Rhinerson and her husband Paul. The cherished grandfather of James Larson, Danielle Ferraro and her husband Robert, Rachel Rhinerson, Tanya Rhinerson, Andrew Larson, Joseph Larson and his wife Alyssa and the late Robert Larson, Robert is the adored grandfather of James, Violet, Iris and Everett.

A Funeral Service Celebrating Robert's Eternal Life will be held on Friday, January 28th at 2pm in the Doherty – Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden Street READING. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Robert's Family prior to the Service beginning at 1pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment with Military Honors will take place at Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading.
