Robert T. Marshall

Robert T. Marshall peacefully entered into eternal rest on October 20, 2017 at his home in Stoneham. He was 93 years old. Robert was the son of the late Cedric and Beatrice (Bennett) Marshall.

He was born on February 28, 1924 in Malden and raised in Stoneham. He graduated from Boston Trade High School as a cabinet maker, served in the US Navy from 1943-1946, and was a proud Stoneham Fire Fighter for almost 35 years.

Robert was predeceased by his loving wife of 56 years, Theresa (Begley) Marshall.

Devoted father of David Marshall and his wife Debra of Stoneham, Richard Marshall of Stoneham and daughter Lorraine Welch and her husband Edward of Winchester. Proud grandfather of Thomas and Glen Welch. Brother-in -law of Gertrude Marshall, June Marshall and Nancy Begley. He also leaves behind 34 loving nieces and nephews and their families.

Robert was predeceased by his brothers George and his wife Rosemary, Paul and his wife Erica, John, Merrill, Lawrence, his sister Mary and her husband George Dooling and brother- in- law Connie Begley.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Friday, October 27th at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Robert's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Thursday, October 26th from 4-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment with Military Honors will take place at Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
