Robert Mastrocola

August 21, 1933 — December 9, 2012

MASTROCOLA, Robert of Stoneham December 9, 2012 at age 79. He leaves his cherished wife of 55 years Mary (Scenna) Mastrocola. Robert fought a cancer battle for many years and finally succumbed for a better life in the arms of his beloved wife who never left his side. Son of the late Francesco and Filomena (D'Alleva) Mastrocola. Brother of the late Antonio Mastrocola and Nicola Mastrocola and his surviving wife Filomena. Brother of Bruno Mastrocola and his wife Sandra. He leaves his caring sister in law Anna Scenna who he helped care for, for many years. His late brother in law Nicola Francessucci and his surviving wife Angela and Maria Cipollone and her husband Camillo. He leaves many devoted nieces, nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews.



He loved sports but his passion was soccer and playing semi pro for 10 years with Boston Italia. He loved playing golf. Robert has been a member of the Appian Club of Stoneham since its inception.



Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Thursday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Robert's Eternal Life in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Wednesday from 4-8 pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants will be available. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
