Robert W. Morrow of Gilford, New Hampshire, formerly of North Reading passed away on Friday, December 22, 2006 at Winchester Hospital in Winchester. He was 82 years of age.





Born in Haverhill, Robert was a longtime resident of North Reading before moving to Gilford, New Hampshire. Robert was a warm and caring brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather, neighbor and friend. He will be sadly missed.





Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and woodworking. He was a devoted and avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. He was a 30 year employee for General Tire in North Reading. Robert was the Chief Engineer for The John T. Barry Rehabilitation Center in North Reading. He was the Sealer of Weights and Measures for Town of North Reading for 25 years, a Former Member of North Reading Auxiliary Police Department and a member North Reading Masonic Lodge. Robert was a proud US Navy Veteran during World War II.





Robert was the beloved father of Bonnie Caron and her husband Lenny, Robert Morrow and his wife Debbie, Laurie Marsh and her husband Dennis, James Morrow and his wife Patricia and Jean McCormack and her husband Timothy. He was the cherished grandfather of 12, the loving great grandfather of 3 and the dear brother of David Morrow and the late Victor Carroll.





A Funeral Service celebrating Robert's life will be held on Saturday at 11am in the Chapel of the Joseph Doherty - Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours, Friday 1-3 & 6-8pm. Parking is available in the municipal parking lot located behind Atlantic Supermarket on Haven St. Interment Riverside Cemetery, North Reading.
