Robert F. Muse

Robert F. Muse of Stoneham formerly of Wakefield passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at Aberjona Nursing Center in Winchester. He was 79 years of age.
Born in Boston, Robert was the loving son of the late Mary (Wischussen) Muse and William H. Muse. Robert was a warm and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be sorely missed.
Robert was a member of the West Side Social Club in Wakefield. Robert had a passion for fishing, he loved deep sea fishing. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
During the Korean and Viet Nam Wars, Robert proudly defended our freedom by serving in the United States Navy. Robert retired from the United States Navy and the United States Postal Service.
Robert was the beloved husband for 58 years of June (Johnson) Muse. He was the devoted father of Steven Muse and his wife Margie of NY, Sharon Pierce and her husband James of N. Reading and Roger Muse and his wife Mary of CA. Robert was the cherished grandfather of 7, great grandfather of 5. He was the loving brother of Rita Stone and her husband Joseph of Wilmington and the late Virginia Serating, Marguerite Whitney, Marie Mannix, Arlene Noddin, Pauline Mann and Lorraine Janvrin. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service celebrating Robert's Life will be held in the Chapel of the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM Saturday at 5 p.m. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the family at the Funeral Home prior to the Service from 2-5 pm. Parking attendants will be available.
