Robert E. Walles

Robert E. Walles of Stoneham, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington. He as 77 years of age.

Born in Boston on September 19, 1937, Robert was the loving son of the late James A. Walles and Evelyn (Lyons) Walles. Robert was a warm and caring son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all who had the privilege to know him.

Robert was the beloved husband of Patricia A. (McLaughlin) Walles. He was the devoted father of Robert M. Walles and his wife Donna, Scott R. Walles and his former wife Jeanette Souza, Mary Judith McGrath and her husband David, youngest son Steve H. Walles and Michael H. and his wife Ann Cavallo – Hartnett. The cherished grandfather of Robert E. Walles, II, Kristina M. Walles, Joseph McLaughlin Walles, Michael D. McGrath and Sean T. McGrath, Robert was the dear brother of William Walles and his wife Nancy, the late James (Pic) Walles and his surviving wife Jeanne and the late Richard Walles. He was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Tuesday, June 2nd at 12pm followed by a Funeral Service celebrating Robert's Eternal Life in The First Congregational Church in Stoneham, 1 Church St. Stoneham at 1pm. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Monday, June 1st, from 4-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available.
