Roderick "Mike" Hogan

'Mike' as he was affectionately known was born on November 11, 1936 in Cambridge, a son of the late Roderick and Anna (O'Kane) Hogan. Raised in Reading he attended St. Patrick's School in Stoneham and graduated from Lawrence Central Catholic High School.  Mike received his Bachelor Degree from Boston College.

He honorably served in the United States Marines and later for over 20 years in the Army National Guard Reserves. Mike was an active member of both the Reading VFW Post #685 and the American Legion Post #62. 

Mike drove tractor trailer for the Teamsters Union #25 years before retiring. 

Mike is the husband of Irene 'Nina' ( Da Cruz) Hogan. He is the loving brother of Elenor Puopolo and her late husband William and his late brothers, Thomas and John Hogan. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews; great-nieces & great-nephews. 

Family and friends are kindly invited to attend  Funeral Mass Celebrating Mike's Eternal Life in Saint Patrick Church, 71 Central Street Stoneham on Tuesday June 21, 2022 at 10 am.
