Rosa (DiTirro) Spinosa

Rosa (DiTirro) Spinosa of Stoneham formerly of Sulmona, Italy, passed away on June 30, 2014 at her home. She was 88 years of age.

Born in Sulmona, Italy, Rosa was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Giovanna (Ricci) DiTirro. Rosa was a warm and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Rosa was the beloved wife of the late Giuseppe Spinosa. She was the devoted mother of Rina Federico and her husband Armando and Giovanna DiCenso. Rosa was the cherished grandmother of Anthony Federico and his wife Melissa, Anna DiStasio and her husband Michael, Alexandria DiCenso and her fiancé Gregory and Tiffany DiCenso and her companion Daniel. She was the loving great grandmother of 5 and dear sister of Dante DiTirro, Ofelia Scudiere, Francesco DiTirro and the late Raffaele DiTirro and Carmine DiTirro. Rosa is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Rosa's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10 am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 from 4-8 pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants will be available.
