ABATE, Rose (DiPerri) of Reading, August 23, 2006 at age 86. Beloved wife of the late Elvino A. Abate. Devoted mother of Richard Abate and his wife Vivian of Reading, Dennis Abate of Reading, Alan Abate and his wife Donna of Tampa, FL and David Abate and his wife Tamra of Woburn. Cherished grandmother of Susan Abate, Richard Abate and his wife Allison, Mark Abate, Michelle Rietano and her husband Michael and Allison Abate. Loving great grandmother of Samantha, Francesca and Avery. Dear sister of Mary Abate, Charles DiPerri, Eleanor Brown and the late John and Phyllis DiPerri. Loving aunt and godmother to many nieces, nephews and godchildren. Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Monday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Rose's life in St. Mary's Church, 155 Washington St. WINCHESTER at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours Sunday 3-7pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment Charles Lawn Memorial Park, Reading.
