Rose (DiDonato) Bordinaro of Saugus passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024, at 95 years of age.
Born on Friday, January 7, 1928 in Boston, Rose is the loving daughter of the late Angelo DiDonato and Annunziata (Pelosi) Bordinaro. Rose is a warm, kind & gentle daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed.
Rose grew up in Boston where she later met the love of her life, Dominic. In their 66 years of marriage, they raised 4 children while running the family business, Gloucester Seafoods. Rose enjoyed spending winters in Florida and traveling to Maine and Gloucester during the summer. Rose knew how to make people laugh and will be sorely missed by all those who loved her.
Rose is the beloved wife of the late Dominic Bordinaro. She is the devoted mother of Ann Marie Bordinaro, Nancy Paglierani Bordinaro, Annette Bordinaro and James Bordinaro. The cherished grandmother of Rene, Derek and his wife Demi, Ashley and her husband Brian, Kristin, the late Kevin and his surviving wife Lisa. Rose is the doting great grandmother of Crystal, Tayla, Kevin III, Maddie, Cassidy, Jackson, Peyton, Jayden, Jordan and Cameron. She is the dear sister of the late Ralph and Lawrence. Rose is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Rose’s Family on Wednesday, January 10th from 8:30 – 9:30am in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street STONEHAM. Elevator and parking attendants available.
A Funeral Mass Celebrating Rose’s Eternal Life will be held on Wednesday, January 10th in Saint Patrick Church, 71 Central Street Stoneham at 10am. Interment Saint Michael’s Cemetery, Boston.
