Rose M. (Grieco) Nazarian, of Stoneham, passed away on December 8, 2014 at 92 years of age. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Rose was a voracious reader. She loved the arts and was a very gifted artist who worked with both water colors and oils. Rose had a passion for cooking, especially for her family and friends. Her table was always open for a good meal and great conversation. She enjoyed creating. She could often be found sewing, knitting and crocheting beautiful works to decorate her home or share with family and friends. Rose was a dedicated member of the Lynnfield Art Guild. She was a gifted linguist who learned to speak Armenian while involved with the Holy Cross Armenian Apostolic Church.
Rose was the beloved wife of the late Jerry Nazarian. She was the devoted mother of Gerard Nazarian and his wife Mami, Jean Nazarian and her husband Eric Rosengren, Jr. and Mark Nazarian and his wife Nan. Rose was the cherished grandmother of Eric Rosengren III and Michael Rosengren. She was the loving daughter of the late Susie and Vincent Ardito and Francis Grieco. Rose was the dear sister of Mary Gouvalaris and her husband the late Steve, Joanne Menkello and her husband Richard, Susan Hart and her husband John and the late Lucy Grieco, Frances Martorana and her husband Frank. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) Stoneham Friday, December 12, 2014 at 9:00 AM followed by Funeral Mass celebrating Roses's Eternal Life in Saint Patrick's Church, 71 Central Street Stoneham at 10:00am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 3-8pm in the funeral home. Parking attendants and elevator are available.
