Rose Marie Parisi of Wakefield left us after a brief yet courageous battle with illness on December 4, 2018.
Born and raised in Boston's West End, Rose spent much of her life as a resident of Medford before moving to Wakefield. She spent most of her life working in Boston as a legal administrative secretary, currently employed at Davis Malm. Retirement never entered Rose's mind, as she loved going to work each day. Rose was a woman of small stature but leaves a big space in the hearts of many.
She is survived by her cousin Lena Higginson; "nieces" Michelle Higginson and Lauren Dalis and their husbands Joseph Albano IV and Chris Dalis; cousin and godson Leo D'Amico and his wife Ella; Ariana Larson and her husband Eric and John D'Amico; her cousins Rose and Josephine D'Arrigo and pre-deceased cousin Tony D'Arrigo. She will be sorely missed by her best friend, "sister of the heart" Connie Slauenwhite and her family. Rose was predeceased by her parents Carmela and Andrew and younger brother Nino Parisi. Rose enjoyed a life of travel with her best friend, family gatherings and celebrations, gardening, visiting the beach, and betting on her beloved New England Patriots.
A Funeral Service Celebrating Rose's Eternal Life will be held on Monday, December 10th, 2018 at 11am in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM.
