Rudolph A. Cavallo

Rudolph A. "Rudy" Cavallo of Stoneham passed away on August 1, 2011 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford. He was 87 years of age.



Born in Medford, Rudy was the loving son of the late Olympia (Capozzoli) Vacallo and Ernest Cavallo. Rudy was a warm and loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. He will be sadly missed.



Rudy was the beloved husband of the late Helen (Silva) Cavallo. He was the devoted father of Linda Cardello and her husband Paul of Wilmington, Rudy Cavallo, Jr. and his wife Marilyn of Medford and Michael Cavallo and his wife Christine of Stoneham. Cherished grandfather of Melissa Greeley and her husband John of Medford, Gregory Cardello and his wife Michelle of Wilmington, Christina Bavin and her husband William of Wakefield, Kimberly Griffin and her husband Gregg of North Andover and David Cavallo and his fiance Jackie McKinnon of Medford. Loving Greatgrandfather of 7. Dear brother of Emily Calabrese and her husband Albert of Wakefield, Ernest Cavallo of Medford, Ralph Cavallo of Cambridge, Lillian Meesa and her husband Frank of Medford and the late Joseph Cavallo and his surviving wife Anna of Arlington. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.



A Funeral Service celebrating Rudolph's Eternal Life will be held on Thursday at 10 am in the Chapel of the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Wednesday from 3-8 pm in the Funeral Home. Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
