Rudolph P. Robichaud of resident of Reading for the past 18 years, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2014. He was 91 years of age.
Born in Cambridge, Rudolph was the loving son of the late Alexander and Rose Anna (Leger) Robichaud. Rudolph was a warm and caring son, brother , uncle and friend. He will be sadly missed.
Rudolph graduated from Boston University in 1952 and Bryant & Strattor Commercial School in 1948. He worked as a senior auditor at John Hancock.
During WWII, Rudolph proudly defended our freedom by serving in the US Army. While in the Army he was sent to France, Germany and Belgium. He was part of the group that discovered the concentration camp in Auchwitz and Buchenwald.
Rudolph was known for his vegetable and flower gardens. He was an avid tennis player and played at Woburn Racquet Club until he was 83.
He was the beloved brother of the late Frank Robichaud, Edgar Robichaud , Henry Robichaud, Rita Kostillo and Margaret Maynard. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Funeral Service celebrating Rudolph's Life on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 3 pm in the Chapel of the Doherty – Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING. Parking attendants will be available.
