Russell Bruce Klucken of Stoneham passed away peacefully December 27th 2016 at Lahey Clinic at the age of 86, while holding hands with his loving wife Elaine Brackett. They were married for over 64 years.
He was the loving father of Russell A. (predeceased), Frank and wife Joyce Henerberry of Brattleboro, VT, and his daughter Sue and husband Henry Poirier of Upton Mass. He was the loving Papa to grandchildren Sarah Jayne Klucken and Russell Poirier. He also was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Bruce touched the lives of many and will live on in their hearts and memories. He will be missed by all those who knew him.
Bruce worked at RCA/GE for over 35 years as a Methods Engineer and was responsible for learning and then teaching processes of assembly and manufacturing that assisted in the space program. In his spare time, he enjoyed tinkering with anything mechanical, wood working, and fixing just about anything that was broken.
Bruce loved vacationing and boating with family and friends at Lake Winnipesaukee. In his younger years, he was an accomplished water skier. He and Elaine took many trips down the East Coast and ventured out to California.
Bruce was very loving and caring and known as being selfless, ingenious, and strong willed and very intelligent.
Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the family on Thursday, December 29th from 3-7pm and again on Friday December 30th from 10am to 11am followed by a Funeral Service Celebrating Russell's Eternal Life in the Chapel of the Doherty – Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING at 11am. Parking attendants and ramped entrance are available.
