Ruth L. (Lally) Brown of Sandpoint, Idaho, formerly of Cambridge, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2008 at Lahey Clinic in Burlington. She was 74 years of age.
Born in Waltham, Ruth was the loving daughter of the late Francis H. Lally and Mary (Conway) Lally. Ruth was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, aunt and friend. She will be sorely missed.
Ruth was a caring woman. Her warm and gentle smile reflected the relationships she made throughout her life. Ruth was a dedicated Social Worker for many years. She was a selfless woman who devoted her life to helping others.
Ruth was the beloved wife of the late James Brown. She was the dear sister of Mary Thompson of Melrose, Ann Constanza of Reading, Thomas Lally of Virginia and the late Francis and William Lally. Ruth was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass celebrating Ruth's life will be held on Wednesday at 9am in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St. READING. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend.
