Ruth E. (Greenwald) Cambria age 85 of Stoneham, MA passed away at her home with her family by her side on Wednesday, November 20, 2024.

She was born Thursday, July 20, 1939 in Melrose, MA and was the loving daughter of the late George Greenwald and Marian (Muse) Greenwald.

Ruth was the caretaker and matriarch for the entire family, always there for anyone in need.

Ruth's greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed hosting Christmas Eve gatherings, family and birthday dinners and 3rd of July barbeques. She loved bowling, going out on Saturday night with friends and family, and her annual family vacation in Pompano of which the family had time share for over 35 years. She was caring, funny, feisty, spunky with a great sense of humor and will be missed dearly by all!

She was the devoted wife of the late Pasquale Cambria for 58 years and the beloved mother of Kristin (Cambria) Joyce, Steven Cambria and her pre-deceased son David Cambria. She was the cherished grandmother of Derek Shaw and his wife Katelyn, Christopher Joyce and his wife Wendy, Samantha Cambria and Steven Cambria, Jr. and great-grandmother to Addison (Addy) Shaw. She was a dear sister of Ginny Greenwald, Lois McNamara and her husband Pat, the late Mimi Haladay, the late Ellie Martino and her late husband Billy, the late Norma Gear and her late husband Mike. She is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
