Ryan F. Martin

August 2, 1992 — December 19, 2019

Ryan Frederick Martin of Stoneham passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at his home. He was 27 years of age.

Born on August 2, 1992 in Stoneham, Ryan is the beloved son of Frederick Martin and Deborah (Powell) Martin. Ryan is the loving brother of Timothy Martin and his fiancé Christina "Chris" Torlone and the late John Martin. He is the cherished grandson of the late Raymond and Helen (Conley) Powell and Henry and Anne (Kilcoyne) Martin. The dear nephew of Catherine Bourdeau and her husband John, Maureen Furilla and her husband Ed, Kathleen Darbe and her husband Les, Colleen Martin, Henry Martin, Daniel Martin and his wife Nancy, Eileen Uberti and her husband Jim and the late Stephen Powell, Ryan is also survived by many loving cousins.

Ryan had many passions and strong opinions that could get him into trouble but he had a big heart and loved his family and some good friends. He loved animals, especially his pets. He loved to play his guitar and he had an eclectic taste in music. He could talk for hours about musical artists and songs that he loved. He loved the visual arts and was a good artist himself. He loved a good meal and was well known at many local restaurants. He loved Prince Edward Island and his Island family. He had a goofy grin.

In keeping with Ryan's wishes funeral services will be private. A memorial event will be held at some point in the near future where great music will be played, good food will be eaten and legendary stories will be told. We hope everyone will wear a Hawaiian shirt.

If you would like to make a donation in Ryan's memory, please choose any animal related cause.
