Sally Ann Walsh

Sally Ann Walsh, of Stoneham, passed away on Thursday September 19, 2024. She was 90 years of age.

On January 19th, 1934 Sally was born in her grandmother's home in Lexington Massachusetts .  She spent most of her years in Stoneham, raising her 5 children, on Gilmore Street. Her unique style and unfiltered personality were usually recognized the first time you met her. Sally will be remembered by her strong will and fierce independence. Her love of art allowed her to express herself in many ways.  She was a talented painter, unique poet, and seamstress.  Sally earned a degree in Reiki and valued holistic healing, medicine and nutrition.  Sally was a wonderful cook who could make anything from scratch. She especially loved sharing and cooking organic recipes with her grandchildren. She loved Bermuda, swimming, dogs, gardening, and all things nature. Sally was a devout Jehovah's Witness and spent decades sharing her faith.

Sally is the wife of the late Francis J. Walsh. She is the mother of the late William Rowe, Mark Rowe and his wife Paula, Debra Rowe, Francis J. Walsh Jr., and his wife Kara Sheedy, and Christopher Walsh. Grandmother to Wayne Eaton Jr., Jason Eaton, Jonathan Rowe, the late Lucas Eaton, Samuel Rowe, Francis Walsh IV, Adam Rowe, Kayla (Walsh) O'Brien, Miles Rowe, and Max Walsh.  Great grandmother to Chloe Collins and Colton O'Brien.

Though Sally fell asleep in death, her firm belief in the truth about Jehovah God, the heavenly Kingdom, the state of the dead and the resurrection of the dead into a paradise on Earth is what she also shared with others the best she could for over 45 years.

One of her favorite scriptures:

Revelation 21:3, 4

3 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them.+ 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes,+ and death will be no more,+ neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.+ The former things have passed away.
