Salvatore L. Fierro

Salvatore L. Fierro of Stoneham, formerly of the North End of Boston passed away on Friday, September 27, 2019 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. He was 76 years of age.

Born on July 28, 1943 in Taurasi, Italy, Salvatore is the loving son of the late Gaetano Fierro and Maria (Beatrice) Fierro. Salvatore is a warm and caring son, brother, father, uncle and friend. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

Salvatore worked in customer service for the MBTA for 23 years. He was also a hairdresser on Newbury Street in Boston for over 40 years. Salvatore was a member of Saint Marco of Sacred Heart in North Square in Boston.

Salvatore is the beloved and devoted husband of Ann C. (Collins) Fierro. He is the cherished father of Gaetano Fierro. Salvatore is the dear brother of the late Maria Grace Fierro and the late Anthony Fierro. He is also lovingly survived by 4 nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Salvatore's Family on Wednesday, October 2nd from 8:30am – 9:30am in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Parking attendants and elevator are available. A Funeral Mass Celebrating Salvatore's Eternal Life will be held following the visitation at 10am in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. STONEHAM. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
