Holbrook, Sandra G. (Griffin) –of Londonderry, NH. Passed away Feb. 4, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of  A. Kendall Holbrook. Beloved mother of Evan DiPhillips and daughter of the late Dr. William Mead Griffin and Shirley Watts Mayforth. Sister of Patricia Mead Griffin of VT; David Watts Griffin of NJ; Meg (Griffin) Reign of FL and the late William Mead Griffin. Sandra was born in 1946 in Oklahoma and grew up in northern New Jersey. She received her B.A. in sociology from the University of Vermont; MSW from Boston University and her M.Ed. from Northeastern University. She was a psychotherapist in Derry and Londonderry NH for the past 30 years. She loved the creative arts and was an accomplished seamstress, knitter, quilter, gardener and accomplished cook. She was most inspired by her mother Shirley and grandmother Mabel Mayforth, who were both creative, frugal and industrious Vermont women. Her cats over the years brought her great companionship and will miss her greatly. A celebration of life will be held for Sandra in the Funeral Home on March 5th at 2 pm. Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home and share personal memories with the family from 12-2 pm. Interment will be private
