Santo Alessi

Mr. Santo Alessi of Stoneham passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston. He was 67 years of age.

Born on February 2, 1947 in Brooklyn, New York, Santo was the loving son of the late Peter Alessi and Dorothy Alessi. Santo was a warm and caring son, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Santo was a loyal and dedicated employee for the Stoneham Public School System. In his spare time, Santo loved to fish and garden. He enjoyed going on family vacations. He had an enormous love for his family, especially his grandchildren.

Santo was the beloved husband for 47 years of Ethel (Dusablon) Alessi. He was the devoted father of Peter Alessi and his wife Julie, Crystel Alessi and Zachary Alessi. Santo was the cherished grandfather of Hunter Alessi, Ryan Alessi, Nicole Ludwig, Eric Ludwig and Phillip Ludwig.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM on Monday, March 24, 2014 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Santo's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Sunday, March 23, 2014 from 2-6pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants will be available.
