Saverio "Mickey" Bizzaro of Reading, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2009 at Wakefield Care & Rehabilitation Center. He was 89 years of age.
Born in Everett, Mickey was the loving son of the late Gennaro and Rosie (Stafflo) Bizzaro. Mickey was a warm and caring son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be sadly missed.
Mickey was the beloved husband of the late Virginia (Waters) Bizzaro. He was the devoted father of Rosemary Rainone and her husband John of Reading, Linda Belliveau and her husband Allan of Malden, Barbara Taylor and her husband George of NH, Paul Hermann and his wife Barbara of Lynn.
Mickey was the cherished grandfather of Mark Rainone and his wife Heather, Kimberly Turco and her husband Jon, Eric Rainone, Deborah Doyle and her husband Paul, Allan Belliveau and his wife Maria, Lisa Simonelli and her husband Christopher, John Belliveau, April Bergeron and her husband Bruce, Brett Taylor and his wife Kelly, Brian Hermann and his wife Kerri, Amy Mahnken and her husband Brian. He was the dear brother of the late Domenic, Ralph, Tony and Carmen Bizzaro. Mickey was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Doherty - Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING Tuesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Mickey's life in St. Athanasius Church, 300 Haverhill St. Reading at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Monday from 4-7pm in the Funeral Home. Interment Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading.
