Scott S. Fraser

Scott Salvatore Fraser (Biological name Francisco Salvatore Ranieri) of Beverly, formerly of Revere, passed after a lengthy illness on November 19th, 2023.                                      

Scott was the son of the late Herbert N. Fraser, Sr. and Dorothy E. (Penney) Fraser. He is survived by his son Joshua Scott Fraser, his brother Herbert N. Fraser Jr. and his wife Kathleen.  Scott was the brother of the late Linda E. Fraser, the late Susan L. (Fraser) Julian and her surviving husband Leo. He also has a sister Rose (Ranieri) Thompson.

Scott leaves many nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles.

Scott is eternally grateful for Ellen La Chance, his roommate who soon became his caregiver and Jean Marie Lemieux, Gerry DeViller, and Rick Catino who had been instrumental in his care.

Scott was a graduate of the National School of Banking at Fairfield University in Ct.  Scott had been in the banking industry since 1994 and worked his way up to branch manager in the Beverly office.  He switched to BayBank and rose to AVP for his branch.  Scott worked at Ipswich Savings as VP of Branch Operations.  He then moved to Stoneham Savings Bank where he graduated from the National Banking School in 2006 and was VP of Branch Operation and Security.

Scott loves Stoneham.  He was the Centennial President of Stoneham Rotary for the year the Gazebo was gifted to the town.  It made him so proud.

Scott also sat on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham & Wakefield.  He was proud to serve and he also participated in the Beachmont/Revere club. 

Scott moved from the banking sector to the financial sector of the healthcare industry.  He began at North Shore Medical where he was the Billing Supervisor at corporate.  He eventually progressed to Corporate Training where he received recognition for making his ten-year work anniversary.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories of Scott with his friends and family on Tuesday, November  28th from 9am - 12pm followed by a Funeral Service Celebrating Scott's Eternal Life at 12pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street (RT 28) STONEHAM.  Parking attendants and elevator are available.  Interment Central Cemetery, Beverly.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations in Scott's memory to the charities he chose himself, The Children’s Trust Fund by visiting www.childrenstrustma.org for Child Abuse Prevention or www.autismspeaks.org.  Both are great organizations that help children.
