Stephen M. "Biggsy" O'Keefe of Reading, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Wingate at Reading. He was 55 years of age.
Born in Somerville, Biggsy was the cherished son of Dorothy M. (McCloskey) O'Keefe and the late Arthur V. O'Keefe. He was the beloved fiance of Debra Ellis. Biggsy was the dear brother of Ellen Andersen and her husband Scott, Arthur O'Keefe and his wife Rebecca, Mary Hulse and her husband Joseph, Matthew O'Keefe and his wife Susan Ecker. Biggsy was the dear uncle of Daniel Andersen and his wife Jaime, Timothy Andersen and his wife Rachel, Nancy Murphy and her husband Kevin, Brendan and Ryan O'Keefe and Michael Hulse. He was the great uncle of Cooper, Tristan and Lila.
Biggsy was a proud member of The American Legion Post # 62 in Reading.
Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Saturday from 2-4pm in the Doherty - Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING. Parking attendants will be available.
