Steven Geoffrey Zaks

Steven Geoffrey (Geoff) Zaks. Of Woburn, died at home December 30, 2018, 71.

Steven graduated from Winthrop High School in 1965 and from Boston State College in 1969. He and his wife Margaret moved to Woburn, MA in 1971, where they spent the majority of their adult lives. They raised their daughter Alicia there while Geoff was a schoolteacher and tax preparer in Woburn.

Geoff is survived by his wife Margaret, sisters Paulette and Nancy, and his daughter Alicia (Klepeis). He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his three grandchildren Liliana, Acadia, and Simon, the joys of his life.

Family and friends will celebrate Geoff's life by gathering for visiting hours at the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street, STONEHAM on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2019 from 10am-12pm and on Thursday, January 3rd from 4-8pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the American Red Cross, 101 Station Landing Suite 510, Medford, MA 02155.
