Rita, Assunta S. "Sue" (Aprile) –Of Wilmington, Aug. 9th.  Beloved wife of the late Alfred Rita. Mother of Mark Rita of Haverhill, Andrea Lawrenson and her husband Ron of Wilmington and the late Anthony Aprile. Grandmother of Courtney, Matthew, Michael, Christine, Nicole and Laura. Great grandmother of Laila, Kaylyn, Kiley and Aiden. Sister of Gaetano "Gus" Aprile and his wife Louise of Medford, Armando "Arnie" and his wife Betty of Wilmington and the late Louis Aprile, Tina Amabello and Theresa Trapani. Sue is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral from the Funeral Home, on Tuesday, Aug. 14th at 11am. Funeral Mass in St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington at 12noon. Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home Monday 4-8pm. Interment in Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sue's name to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Sue was a longtime member of the Wilmington Son's of Italy.
