Terese (Armstrong) Gould

Terese (Armstrong) Gould, of Florida, formerly of Reading, passed away on Wednesday June 15, 2022 at her home with her family by her side. She was 90 years of age.

Born in Melrose, Terese was the daughter of the late Martin and Grace (Chisholm) Armstrong.

Terese was a resident of Reading for 57 years before moving to Florida.  During her time in Reading Terese was an active member of St. Athanasius Parish, where she taught CCD, was a Eurchristic Minister and sang in the choir. Above all else she valued her faith, her family and her friends. 

Terese is the beloved wife of James Gould. She is the devoted mother of James Gould and his wife Donna, Grace Maganzini and her husband Stephen, MaryAnne Cuscuna and her husband Dino and Martin Gould. Loving grandmother of James Gould, Elizabeth Westendorf, Stephen Maganzini, Jonathan Gould, Athina Schwartz, Cristina Cuscuna, Grace Maganzini and Kolbe Maganzini. Great grandmother of Shamus Gould, Matthew Westendorf, Cameron Westendorf and Thomas Maganzini. Dear sister of Martin Armstrong, Thomas Armstrong and Isabelle Damphouse. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.  

Funeral from the Doherty Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING on Friday June 24th, 2022 at 10 am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Terese's Eternal Life in St. Athanasius Church 300 Haverhill St. Reading at 11 am. Interment will follow at Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Thursday June 23rd, 2022 from 5 pm - 8 pm in the funeral home. Parking attendants available.
