Terese M. (Adams) McCauley of Reading passed away on Monday, October 5, 2015 at Winchester Hospital. She was age 85.
Terese was born on December 8, 1929 in Woburn. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Terese is a former Teacher's Aide for special needs children in Reading Public Schools. She is known for her talent in hand crafted needlework which she enjoyed sharing with and teaching others. Terese is a devoted member of the Saint Agnes Parish Community where she sang in the Adult Choir.
Terese is the beloved wife of the late John F. McCauley, III. She is the devoted mother of Maureen McCauley Cannava and her husband John, Michele McCauley Ballos and her husband Tom, Sharon McCauley and her husband Jonathan Jodoin and Christopher McCauley and his wife Deborah. Terese is the cherished grandmother of Thomas Ballos, Matthew Ballos and his wife Lauren Dannenberg, Benjamin Ballos, Adam McCauley, Daniel McCauley and his wife Paola and great grandmother of Mia Carmen McCauley. She is the loving daughter of the late Sydney and Marguerite (Bradley) Adams. Terese is the dear sister of the late Barbara Quinn. She is the sister in law of Ed Quinn. Terese is the aunt of David Quinn, Deb Quinn-Munson, Leslie Ann and Paula Bearden.
Funeral from the Doherty-Barile Funeral Home 11 Linden Street READING, Friday, October 9th at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Terese's Eternal Life in Saint Agnes Church, 186 Woburn Street, Reading at 10:30am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Thursday, October 8th from 1-3 and 6-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and ramped entrance available. Interment at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
