Terry P. "Teddy" Legor, beloved husband of the late Mary (Hanlon) Legor, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2019. Born in Boston, he is the son of the late Peter and Georgia (Lubonja) Legor.
Teddy grew up in Somerville and was a graduate of Somerville High School. Instead of the draft, Teddy volunteered his service and is a veteran of the United States Army. Teddy attended and earned an Associates Degree from Burdett College on the G.I. Bill. For 35 years, he worked as an insurance investigator at Commercial Union. Teddy enjoyed traveling with his family, especially to St. Martin. He enjoyed Friday nights with the guys, eating good food and playing pool. Teddy was a devoted family man and devoted friend. He will truly be missed.
He is the devoted father of Lisa Sacco and her husband Robert, Gayle Flannery, Peter Legor and his wife Sylvia and Gary Legor. Cherished grandfather of Nicole Sacco Cattaneo, Robert M. Sacco, Lauren Lomas and her husband Eric, Ricky Flannery and Tommy Flannery. Great grandfather of Aaliyah Sacco Lopes, Prue Cattaneo, Ruby Leigh Lomas and Luca Robert Lomas. Brother of George P. Legor and his wife Valentina and Larry P. Legor and his wife Joan. He is the uncle of Karen Geraghty and her husband Jack, Alison Darnell and her husband Robert and Caroline Legor, along with many other nieces and nephews. He was also a dear friend to many.
At Teddy's request, no formal services will be held.
