Theresa C. (Rossetti) Aronofsky of Stoneham passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022 peacefully surrounded by her family at her home. She is 82 years of age.
Born on Friday, March 15, 1940 in Boston, Theresa is the Loving daughter of the late Ernest and Elvira Rossetti. Theresa is a gentle, kind and warm daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be truly missed.
Theresa and Bernard were married for 62 beautiful years. They were together since high school and she was the love of his life. Theresa's pride and joy was her family. She loved spending summers with her grandchildren at Ogunquit Beach and hosting weekly Sunday dinners and cookouts. She exuded strength and perseverance throughout her life and that held true through the end of her life.
Theresa is the beloved wife of Bernard Aronofsky. She is the devoted mother of David Aronofsky, Sandra Federico and her husband Robert, Christine Penney and her husband Joseph and Leslie Paonessa and her husband Kevin. The cherished grandmother of Joseph Penney and his wife Raisa, Alyssa Penney, Jarred Penney, Robert Federico and his wife Vanessa, Alexa Federico, Alana Federico, Jake Paonessa, Shawna Paonessa, James Aronofsky, Elijah Aronofsky, Isaiah Aronofsky and Autumn Aronsofsky, Theresa is the doting great grandmother of Camden Penney and the dear sister of Elaine Pizzi.
A Funeral Mass Celebrating Theresa's Eternal Life will be held on Wednesday, March 23rd at 8:45am in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. STONEHAM. PLEASE GO DIRECTLY TO CHURCH. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington.
