Theresa C. (Quinn) Maillet

Theresa C. (Quinn) Maillet of Somerville passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 18th after a brief illness. She was 94.

Theresa was born on Thursday, September 18, 1930 in Somerville. She was the loving daughter of the late Francis Quinn and Catherine (Phillips) Quinn and sister to the late Francis Quinn and the late Ralph Quinn.

Theresa was the beloved wife of the late Louis Maillet for over 68 years. She was the devoted mother of Paul Maillet and his wife Marianne Maillet and Mark Maillet and his wife Jean Maillet. Loving grandmother to her five grandchildren: Michael, Paul, Brianna, Justin and Jennifer and to her five great grandchildren Patrick, Jake, Cadence, Henry and Andy.

Theresa was a homemaker while Paul and Mark were young and later worked as an admin for a small engine repair service in Somerville then as an admin for the Teamsters Local 25 in Charlestown. Theresa enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. She loved gardening, knitting, and reading. She volunteered a great deal of her time to St. Joseph’s Parish weekly bingos, their food distribution effort to the less fortunate, and the Teamsters monthly Blood Bank. Theresa was also a Life Member of the Charlesgate Yacht Club in Cambridge, MA.

Family and friends are invited to gather and share memories on Wednesday, June 25th from 9am - 10:30am in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street, (RT 28) STONEHAM. Parking attendants and elevator are available.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Woodlawn Chapel at 11:30am followed by interment at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
